Atul to officiate in online World Taekwondo meet


JAMMU: Qualified referee and top ranked player and coach, Atul Pangotra of J&K has been selected to officiate in the Online 2021 World Taekwondo Poomsae Challenge -1. Atul has already completed the workshop organized by the World Taekwondo (WT).
Athletes from near 120 countries across the globe are expected to take part in this event.
Around 40 referees from around the World have been selected for this event.
Earlier, during the workshop, Dr. Chungwon Choue (president, WT) congratulated all the qualified referees for being the part of this historical online event.
Important to mention here that Atul has also qualified among the top 50 officials for 2021 Paralympics and will be representing India in the final phase of Tokyo 2021 Paralympics Referee seminar to be held in May.
A staffer of the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Atul has been complimented for his achievement by senior vice president of India Taekwondo (IT), Dr. S.M Bali.
