Recently, I received a video on WhatsApp which has been circulated in a ‘Pitbull’ owner’s group. It depicts brutal murder of a pitbull dog by its owner, near Nagbani School.
He is known as Lucky Raja among his friends. This person has a DP of same dog in his FB profile. This person is known for organising dog-fights in Muthi Domana area regularly. He raises Pitbulls for this
illegal sport and kills them when they lose fight or
got grievously injured or become difficult to handle. Through the medium of your esteemed daily, I would like to request SSP Jammu and SHO Domana to kindly lodge an FIR against the aforesaid person under Sections 428 and 429 of IPC Sec 11(1)(m) and Section 1(n) of PCA Act besides for illegal possession of arms under Section 336 of IPC endangering life or personal safety of others.
He is habitual of organising dog-fights and then brutally shooting pet dogs to death with a country-made gun as evident in the video received. I hope this case will be given due attention and the aforesaid person is booked under all appropriate Sections of law.
