Army provides vocational training to 25 unemployed youths

RAJOURI: Army organising a four week course on “Computer Hardware and Mobile Repairing” for 25 unemployed youths of Keri and nearby villages of Rajouri district (J&K) from 20 Jan 2021 to 18 Feb 2021 under Sadbhavana.
The course was inaugurated by Vipin Datta, Sarpanch of Keri village. The four week course is aimed at imparting skills related to maintenance and repair of Computer Hardware and Mobile to the youth of Keri area of Rajouri.
The course is focused on empowering the youth with skills which assist them to achieve sustainable livelihood.
All successful participants will be awarded with a certificate from National Skill Development Council (NSDC).
The Army has aligned its efforts to the initiatives of State and Central Government and focused on conduct of accredited courses with recognised certification which will help the youth optimally utilising the opportunities offered. All the students have shown strong urge to learn the new skill and have displayed keenness towards achieving self-employment in the future.
