Army organises workshop on entrepreneurship avenues



POONCH: Entrepreneurship involves designing of business idea followed by launching and running a new business. Typically, it begins as a small business, by learning skills in any field. These skills can then be honed to ensure sustainable growth of region and state. Small scale industry thrives on all these skills and entrepreneurs. Organising entrepreneurship programme by Indian Army in remote region of District Poonch (J&K) under the present security situation further strengthen the motto of “Jawan Aur Awam, Aman Hai Muqam”. Doda Battalion conducted a workshop for such entrepreneur for Automobiles Repair, Welding and Sericulture in its AOR at Seklu with an aim to promote the goal to strengthen the AWAM-ARMY bond. A total of 12 youth participated in the entrepreneurship programme.
Organising such events will go a long way in developing goodwill amongst local populace and lay the foundation of a patriotic and integrated next generation of India. It will also contribute in upliftment of society as whole.
