STATE TIMES NEWSRAJOURI: In view of the COVID-19 outbreak, Indian Army unit under the aegis of Romeo Force organised ‘COVID-19 awareness Drive’ at Gambhir in district Rajouri. The aim of the drive was to spread awareness in the local population about the prevailing COVID-19 situation.Locals were guided about registration for vaccination on cowin.gov.in application. They were educated of taking adequate precautions such as use of double masks, hygiene and practice social distancing. The villagers were also made part of an interactive session on COVID-19, wherein they came up with their queries/ perceptions on the pandemic which in turn were adequately clarified by the Army Nursing Assistant. 30 kits consist of medicines, sanitisers and masks were distributed to the locals to gear them up for anti COVID-19 measures.
