Army conducts medical camp



RAJOURI: A health awareness cum medical checkup camp was organised by Indian Army at Hanjanwali in District Rajouri.
The aim of the camp to spread awareness amongst local populace on different ailments, identification of risk factors, prevention from life style diseases precautions against COVID-19 and dietary modification for healthy lifestyle.
During the camp, a lecture was conducted on Vector and Water Borne Diseases such as Dehydration, Malaria, Typhoid, Gastroenteritis and Hepatitis.
The attendees were informed about importance of maintaining personal hygiene, sanitation and precautionary measures to be adopted during summer season for prevention of season specific ailments. Awareness about COVID-19 precaution and vaccination drive of Government of India was also shared with the attendees to make them aware about the pandemic.
A total of 19 locals include men and children of alleges attended the camp.
Local populace of Hanjanwali appreciated the efforts of Army for providing medical facilities at their doorstep. Local village elders requested for conducting more similar camp in future.
