JAMMU: Extending support to agitating farmers, National Awami United Party (NAUP) National president Sandeep Singh asked the Union Government to consider the genuine demands of farmers of the country.If the Union Government is concerned over the welfare of farmers, then amend the provision of these laws to end the stalemate.Sandeep extended support to the agitating farmers from the last two months.Terming their demand genuine, Sandeep Singh said after implementation of farmer bills, small farmers will suffer and assurance on MSP may clear the doubt. Many rounds of talks have been held between the union government and agitating farmers, but on concrete solution came out of these talks.The Government is focusing on corporate houses but didn’t want to realize the apprehensions of the farmers which are concerned about their produce.Expressing anguish over the remarks made by some vested interests people during agitation, Sandeep asked the agitating farmers that they should remain vigilant from such forces who are hell bent to derail the farmers agitation from their core issue.No one should be allowed the take political mileage from the farmers agitation as farmers are the bread earners of the country. He appealed to the workers of the party to raise genuine issues of the general masses for their early redressal from the concerned authorities.Other prominent leaders present were Karanjeet Singh, Pankaj Langoo and Shikha Bandral Thakur.
