Akhnoor Club wins opening Kabaddi match

JAMMU: Akhnoor Club won the opening kabaddi match on the second day of Jammu edition of Premier League being organised under the aegis of J&K Sports Council with the collaboration of concerned association at Indoor Sports Complex, Bhagwati Nagar, here on Saturday.
In the first match, Akhnoor Club defeated Nagrota Warriors with the margin of 15 points while Baba Jito Club outplayed Kings Sports Club with a narrow margin of six (37-31) points in second match.
The third match was won by MA Stadium be defeating Nagrota Warriors by 14 (30-16) points and Shaheed DBP Club beat Akhnoor Club by 41 (67-26) points in another match.
The last match of day was won by Shaheed DBP Sports Club outplayed Nagrota Warriors by 26 (40-14) points.
today’s matches were officiated by Ajay Kumar Gupta, Anil Sharma, Sports Council Kabaddi Coaches and two officials by the Association.
Surinder Mohan Gupta, General Secretary of Kabbadi Association was the special guest who introduced with the team players and officials before the start of the match in the presence of Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer J&K Sports Council Jammu and Reyaz Ahmad, Administrative Officer J&K Sports Council.
