SRINAGAR: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan, on Tuesday chaired the 76th meeting of Board of Directors (BoD) of Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation (JKSPDC) Limited.Financial Commissioner Finance, Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta, Principal Secretary Science and Technology, Bipul Pathak, Principal Secretary Power Development, Rohit Kansal and Director Finance, JKSPDC Mohammad Sultan Malik attended the meeting.While chairing the BoD, Advisor Baseer Khan said that all efforts should be made to take all the projects of JKSPDC to a logical end for larger interest of the society. He directed that all the issues of JKSPDC with the various agencies be pursued vigorously in a time bound manner.The BoD also constituted committees to hold deliberations with the concerned agencies on any of the issues or differences. The BoD also decided that pending payment of verified bills to Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors of work done be released after duly certification of claims by the respective Executive Directors.The BoD also held deliberation on various issues like extension of time in favour of consultancy services, settlement of claims, whistle blower policy of JKSPDC and other related concerns.
