REASI: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Reasi, Rajinder Kumar Sharma on Tuesday flagged off five days girls’ trekking camp of students from zones of Reasi, Pouni and Arnas from General Zorawar Singh Stadium, here.
Before send off, the ADC interacted with the enthusiastic trekkers and advised them to enjoy their trekking expedition in different locations and explore their own district.
He said that the aim of organising such trekking expeditions was to imbibe in the youngsters the enthusiasm for adventures besides promoting adventure tourism.
He advised the students while trekking try to keep the environment neat and clean by not throwing polythene and other things which pollutes the nature.
The ADC Reasi also distributed track suit to the participating 50 girl trekkers.
During the five days trekking, these girls shall will visit Reasi district adjoining areas like Sulla Park, Bidda Baba, Bhimgarh Fort. The group is accompanied by Sonali Sharma (Rek), Neha Sharma (Rek) and Sahil Sharma (Rek) under the overall guidance of ZPEO Reasi, Asha Sharma.
