‘Acute shortage of water in Panchyats Joura Khurd, Joura Kalan, Halaran’

DODA: Om Raj Bhall, Layaqat Ali Sheikh and Javeed Iqbal Batt members of Thathri Development Front, District Doda in a joint press statement issued here has appealed to LG Manoj Sinha that there always remained acute shortage of drinking water in Panchyats Joura Khurd, Joura Kalan & Halaran but now after snow fall all old water pipes have brokered and the people are drinking water from melting snow, which has put the inhabitants to unfold hardships in these cold days.
The public of the area have appealed LG to intervene in the matter personally so that regular water supply is ensured to all the Panchyats after proper repairing & replacing of the old & brokered pipes. The people of these Panchyats have also been suffering badly from the shortage of power supply causing great inconvenience and trouble to the residents of the aforesaid area. They appealed the concerned PDD & Jal Shakti authorities to look into this grave injustice and discrimination immediately failing which public will be constrained to come on roads, they cautioned.
