ABVP conducts mass screening to trace corona cases in slum areas


JAMMU: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Seva-Karya underway during COVID-19 second wave.
To prevent spread of COVID-19 in Jammu slum areas, the ABVP team is going to conduct a massive screening drive. The drive called ‘Mission Aarogya-Sarve Santu Niramayah’ will started from May 19 wherein ABVP members went door-to-door to screen people for COVID-19 symptoms using temperature guns and oximeters across Jammu. ABVP is also distributing sanitisers, masks and Aarogya Kada to people. The Karyakartas have been divided into 6 teams with each team comprising of 5 members. It has also appealed to students to join them in their collaborative efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19.
ABVP North Zone Joint Organizing Secretary Vijay Pratap said that we stand together in this ongoing campaign to put things back on track through our aid efforts and thus end this difficult phase of our country. He further said the ABVP activists are tirelessly working day and night to reduce the difficulties caused by the pandemic.
