SRINAGAR: Senior BJP leader and party spokesperson Dr Darakhshan Andrabi on Monday visited many hamlets of Vessu constituency and sought public vote and support for BJP candidate Rafiq Ahmad Wani contesting DDC polls.
Dr Andrabi met people and explained the importance of their vote for BJP during her door-to-door campaign in village Nipora and many other Mohallas of Qazigund.
She explained the progress and development vision of BJP for Jammu & Kashmir.
Later, she addressed a public rally at village Malikabad which was attended by a huge gathering.
In her address, Dr Andrabi said that that soon the government is announcing a new industrial policy for Jammu & Kashmir and it will create immense job opportunities for the youth of the state.
“Earlier we had J&K Minerals, J&K Cements as the profit giving industrial units in J&K, but our governments run by Abdullahs & Muftis made them collapse because their vision of running the state of J&K was limited to personal development and progress only. They were running the state like a private company,” said Dr Andrabi.
BJP leader said that BJP has a comprehensive plan to revive industry and business sector in J&K.
She said that a world class tourism sector is being developed on priority basis in J&K and when peace has now dawned in our lives after decades, new job and business opportunities are being created. Dr Andarbi informed the people about the agriculture and Horticulture revival missions of the government. She also gave information about various revolutionary flagship schemes of the Modi government to the people and she was surprised that the people have not been even made aware of the benefits of these schemes. Dr Andrabi was accompanied by BJP district Anantnag Secretary and district In-charge of IT & Social Media Pinaka Malik during the electioneering.
