UDHAMPUR/JAMMU: Police on Wednesday foiled two bovine smuggling bids by rescuing 56 bovines and arrested four smugglers.As per details, Manwal Police during Naka in area intercepted two trucks (CJ04MP-3354 and JK02CC-7034). During checking, 38 bovines were found laden in vehicles. Two smugglers were arrested on the spot and a case under relevant section of law was registered against them.Beli Charana Police also rescued 18 bovines from a truck (JK02BU-5277) and arrested two smugglers, identified as Jamat Ali, resident of Beli Charana and Fareed Ahmed, resident of Gajansoo.
