SAMBA: Police on Tuesday seized five vehicles including two dumpers, two tippers and a tractor-trolley during last 24 hrs, which were being used for illegal transportation of construction material.
As per details, a party from Police Post Supwal, while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, seized four vehicles (JK02CJ-8121, JK02CN-2469, JK21A-4574 and JK02BL-0145) at NH Supwal for illegally transporting construction material (sand). Similarly, a team of Police Station Ghagwal intercepted a Tractor-Trolley without Registration number at Naka NH Tapyal for illegal transportation of construction material (Sand). All 5 vehicles intercepted by Samba Police in aforementioned incidents were seized on spot and cases were entrusted to Geology and Mining Department, Samba for further action.
