Jammu: Continuing its drive against menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which teams from Police Station Kanha Chak, Police Posts Canal Road and Chatha acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at different locations in their respective areas and seized four vehicles involved in illegal mining. The seized vehicles include a tractor-trolley without registration number seized by Kanha Chak police; a tractor (JK02BK 2981) and one without registration number by Chatha police and a tractor-trolley without registration number by Canal police.The vehicles were seized by SHO Kanha Chak Insp Vishav Pratap SIngh, In-Charge Police Post Chatha Insp Rakesh Roshan and Incharge Police Post Canal SI Ravinder Singh in their respective jurisdictions.
