AKHNOOR: In continuation to ongoing efforts to curb crime in Sub Division Akhnoor, Gharota Police arrested four absconders who were absconding since 2013. The said absconders included Sonu, son of Som Nath; Sanjeev Kumar, Ravi Kumar and Deepa alias Dimple, all sons of Parkash, residents of Saroya Tehsil Balachaur District Nawasher, Punjab in a case registered vide FIR No. 20/2013 under Sections 20/2003 & 147, 323, 324 of RPC Police Station Gharota. They were produced before 1st additional Munsiff Forest (JMIC) Court Jammu and were later lodged in Central Jail Amphalla Jammu as per order of court. The arrest was made by Police team of Gharota under supervision of SHO Gharota Insp Mahesh Sharma.
