SUNDERBANI: In Gurudwara Singh Sabha Behanigala Sunderbani, 355th birth anniversary of the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh was celebrated.On the occasion, Secretary of Gurudwara Sahib Didar Singh addressed to Sikh Sangat. He said all over the world send greetings to one another and vow to follow the path and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh. Singh said Guru Gobind Singh was known as a great warrior & Great Saint, for his inclination towards poetry and of course, the strong philosophies and writings he stood. He is also remembered for opposing the Mughal rule in India, and leading the fight against the tyranny of the rulers.He also served as an inspiration to millions of Sikhs globally because of the peace and equality he preached. Therefore, he is also known as the father of Khalsa Panth and till date, the festival of Baisakhi is celebrated to mark the birth of this order. In this occasion after recit shabad kirtan and ardass by Granthi of Gurdwara Sahib Karnail Singh then open Guru Ka Langer. Thousands of sangets took Langer parshad at Gurdwara Sahib Behanigala.Meanwhile, Gurudwara Nanak Satsang Taraf Sanji Kathua celebrated 355th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.On this occasion Shri Akhand Sahib Path of Shri Guru Granth Sahib was started on 7th January 2022 at 9:00 am and today Akand Sahib Path was ended.After Akhand Path Sahib Bhog, A grand Kirtan Darbar was decorated in which Shabad Kirtan was recited.Raagi Jatha Headed by Giani Charanjeet Singh from District Gurudwara Singh Saba Kathua was the main kirtaniye(singer) on this occasion. He recited numbers of blissful Shabad which blessed the devotees with Spritual knowledge.Another female Kirtaniye Biwi Jatinder kour also recited the Shabad Kirtan on this occasion. A group of children prepared by Biwi Gurpreet Kour Head of Sukhmani Committe Taraf Sanji also recited Shabad Gurbani dedicated to Shri Guru Gobind Singh on this occasion. President Gurudwara Nanak Satsang Taraf Sanji Gurcharn Singh threw light on the life and teachings of Shri Guru Gobind Singh and appealed to the Sangat to follow the teachings of the Founder of Khalsa Panth, Sarbans Daani Guru Gobind Singh. Dr Jogbinder Singh and Giani Tarlok Singh also enriched the saad sangat with the quotes of gurbani with explanation and life history and teachings of Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji.The proceedings of the Celebration was conducted by Gen Secretary S.Bhajan Singh Gurudwara Nanak Satsang Taraf Sanji Kathua. During the course of proceedings he also appealed to the Sangat to pray Guru Gobind Singh Ji to give us the courage and strength to fight the evil, and stand by the side of truth and May Guru Gobind Singh keep showering his blessings on the entire universe. Gurudwara committee honoured the Head of Sukhmani Committe Biwi Gurpreet Kour. Prizes were also distributed among all the participants who recited Kirtan and poems on this occasion. In the end Kadah Parshad and Langar was served to all devotees.
