GANDERBAL: Police on Tuesday arrested three persons involved in illegal sale of Government cement.As per details, on specific information, a party from Police Station Gund under supervision of SDPO Kangan raided two spots at Fraw Haknar & Ganiwan Gund and seized 248 bags of Government cement from possession of three persons, identified as Ishtiyaq Ahmad Shah, son of Abdul Ahad Shah; Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, son of Abdul Ahad Shah, both residents of Fraw Gund and Ehsan-ul-Haq, son of Abdul Ahad Bhat, resident of Sumbal Bala Gund.It is to be noted that the cement was meant for Government works only and was labeled as ‘Not for Retail Sale’. The accused persons were arrested and shifted to police station where they remained in custody. Accordingly, FIR Nos. 31/2021, 32/2021 and 33/2021 under relevant sections of law were registered at Police Station Gund and investigations initiated.
