2nd phase of Council’s ‘Premier League’ from June 20


SRINAGAR: The Sports Officer (Kashmir) of the J&K Sports Council (JKSC) has planned 2nd phase of the 4-game ‘Premier League) of districts falling in Kashmir Division from third week of June. As per a letter, issued on Thursday and addressed to the secretaries of the four league disciplines of Football, Hockey, Volleyball and Kabaddi, the JKSC officer asked for making ready the district qualified teams for the competition ahead. The letter mentioned that everything was ready for the 2nd phase of the competition from 3rd week of April but due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, the event could not be held.
