JAMMU: To finalise the arrangements for 27th Annual Chhari Mubarak Yatra to the historical Shrines of Purmandal, a meeting of various religious and social organizations was held at Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Complex Gandhi Nagar, here Jammu, under the chairmanship of Gulchain Singh Charak former Minister, President Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust and Purmandal Utter Behni Shrines Development Committee.
Besides representatives of Trust, Committee, Langar Seva Samiti Bari Brahmana, Data Dev Development Committee Birpur and other Prominent Citizens Participated.
Keeping Corona Pandemic situation in view, the Committee decided to replicate the programme as was done last year, keeping all SoPs in position i.e on 9th of April Chhari Puja of Holy Maces along with Dharamarth will be performed in Shri Ranbirshwar Mandir in the evening 2/3 representatives only from the Trust will participate and on 10th of April, the Holy Maces will leave for Raghunath Temple in a well decorated vehicle under the guidance of Mahant Rishiban for Puja etc and from there the Holy Maces will reach Shri Lakshimi Narayan Ji Mandir, Gandhi Nagar Jammu where the Holy Maces will be received by the Trustees for Puja.
Then the Yatra will proceed to Purmandal via Mahadev Mandir Gandhi Nagar, Shri Shiv Mandir Trikuta Nagar ,Shri Shiv Mandir Greater Kailash, Shri Narsingh Dev Mandir Birpur and Data Ranpat Dev Mandir Birpur etc, Charak said.
Charak appealed to the DC Samba, to direct Distt. Administration RTO Traffic Police and all other concerned departments to make necessary arrangements as per past practice for the smooth celebrations of the three days programme.
Charak also advised the Management Committee enroute not to install Langer and stalls, keeping the Corona pandemic in view and they were advised to receive The Hloly Maces with great respect.
Prominent among others who participated included S.C. Rekhi, Prithvi Raj Vaid, Prem Sharma, Capt Shankar Singh, Kapil Slathia, Karan Singh, Harish Malhotra, Jagjit Singh, Ved Verma, Rajinder Singh Jamwal, Vikas Sharma, Parshant Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Chhankar Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Ganesh Sharma, Ajay Singh, Bhopinder Shastri and different Development Committees participated.
