JAMMU: Traffic police on Monday launched a drive against modified vehicles and seized 25 vehicles.As per details, acting on complaint of senior citizens and heart patients that a large number of modified silencers are creating noise and nuisance in Jammu city and affecting their health, a drive was launched by traffic police and bikes with modified silencers and vehicles creating nuisance were seized. The drive was launched under supervision of Addl SP Traffic Pardeep Singh Gauria, Dy SP Sunil Singh. DTI Khushwant Singh and SO Traffic Anil Kumar also seized 20 motorcycles and 5 cars with modified silencers. SSP Traffic Jammu appreciated the efforts of these officers and informed that such drives will continue in coming days.
