JAMMU: Two promising players from Jammu and Kashmir have been selected in the list of VIVO Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 as new young players category.These selected players are Rajan Singh Manhas and Ahtisham Ashraf. While Rajan has been included in the list of 42 Defenders and Ahtisham has been named in the list of 40 Raiders. A July 2001 born, Rajan Singh belongs to Jammu while Ahtisham is a November 2000 born and belongs to Kashmir Division of the UT of J&K.“We are happy that two young Kabaddi players of J&K have been picked for the Prof Kabaddi. Certainly the selection help encourage the youngsters to take the game professionally,” said Chief Executive Officer of the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta.
