STATE TIMES NEWSSRINAGAR: Six districts of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir– Anantnag, Bandipora, Baramulla, Budgam, Doda, Ganderbal, Jammu, Kathua, Kulgam, Poonch, Pulwama, Rajouri, Ramban, Samba, Shopian and Srinagar have achieved 100 per cent coverage of first dose Covid vaccine for the age group of above 18 years old. According to officials, 96,550 doses of vaccine were administered in the last 24 hours across the UT bringing the cumulative number of doses administered here to 13,430,141. Across J&K, 99.89 percent of the population above the age of 18 years has been vaccinated. On Covid status, the officials said that 75 new positive cases of virus, 15 from Jammu division and 60from Kashmir division, have been reported on Wednesday, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 330741. Moreover, 122 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 44 from Jammu Division and 78 from Kashmir Division.
