13 PDD AEEs, nine JEs promoted

JAMMU: The Government on Monday ordered placement of 13 Degree/Diploma holder Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs) (E) as Executive Engineers (XEns) (E).
“Pending clearance of the Departmental Promotion Committee/Competent Authority, sanction is accorded to the placement of 13 I/c Assistant Executive Engineers (E) as I/c Executive Engineers (E) in their own pay and grade,” reads an order issued by Rohit Kansal, Principal Secretary, Power Development Department.
As per order, the degree holders who have been placed as XEns include Javid Ahmad Waza, Neeraj Amla, Suman Bharti, Ajay Kumar Koul, Yash Paul, Rouf Ahmad Bhat, Romesh Raina and Lenin Kumar Kandu and the diploma holders include Dewan Chand Sharma, Altaf Hussain Sheikh, Ram Lal, Madan Lal and Surinder Kumar.
“The adverse report, if any, received against any officer from any quarter, the placement of the official as I/C Executive Engineer shall be withdrawn, ab-initio, without giving any notice,” the order stated and added “The aforesaid engineers shall submit their joining report as I/c Executive Engineers to their respective Chief Engineers and continue to work at their present place of postings till further orders of adjustment.”
Meanwhile as per another order, nine Diploma holders Junior Engineers (JEs) (E) have been placed as Assistant Engineers (AEs) (E) in their own pay and grade. They include Arvind Sharma, Rajni Sharma, Nasreen Jehan, Waseem Sajad, Ruby Jan, Shamas Kaloo, Rita Gupta, Mohammad Iqbal Wadoo and Ranjay Gupta.
“In case of any adverse CID/Vigilance report or report of any FIR/PE/RDA/DE being brought to notice of the department at any point of time, now or in future, the placement of the officers as I/c Assistant Engineer shall be deemed to have been cancelled, ab-initio, without any further notice,” it stated and added “The aforesaid engineers shall submit their joining report as I/c Assistant Engineers with their respective Executive Engineers and continue to work at their present place of postings till further orders of adjustment.”
